It was morning already. I looked the window and I could see we were already close to the landmark called ONE WAY.
How long will it take us to arrive Monstero College? "I exclaimed"
The journey was getting me bored. Immediately, every began laughing at me.
No, this is funny at all, I yelled.
Why are you all laughing at me?
An elder man who look very frail and skinny walked sluggishly towards me with his eyes so keen on me.
Young man, Is this your first time to travel this distance?
I slowly said, Yes sir.
Do you want to know why we were all laughing? Said the man
Yes sir, I said in low tone.
We travel like this every week majorly for work purposes.
Oh!! Alright..."said I"
I got my book from bag and began to write a story about the journey.
I love doing his a lot. It was the best way I could relax my brain.
Just then, I heard a loud voice from the driver
2 hours left. Start getting your bags ready; "said the driver"
Everyone began arranging their bags and luggage sir.
I was still writing when I heard a loud rumbly noise from the train.
The train stopped and we all alighted.
Mary Ann and I were so delighted about the fact that we have already reached our destination.
As we walked down the road, we saw a large white building.
It was more like an ancient castle. It had 24 pillars and 24 ancient doors.
According to research, the capacity of the school was a 500,000 capacity building.
We got to the gate and heard a loud sound of a gong which almost deafen my ear.
Unexpectedly, a man with long hairs and a wild face walks towards the gate grabs my bag and says "Welcome to Monstero College, follow me"
I looked back but couldn't find Mary Ann.
Where did she go?
I was lost in thoughts. What's happening here?
Just then, the atmosphere began to change. I could literally see the clouds turn black and the clouds began to float downwards towards the Earth.
Within the space of few minutes, I saw myself in a large auditorium filled with monsters with long hairs like a loin, long claws and sharp teeth.
I took a careful glance around and oh!! I saw Maryann bound hands and feet
Is this a dream?
I need to wake up..I groaned deeply.
Two grievious monsters held me by my hands and bound me both hands and feet.
The more I screamed for help, the more I was mocked by the congregation of monsters.
Shortly, I saw a huge monster who was about 12fts tall. His hairs and beards were too long reaching both his back and belly respectively.
The scary thing about him was that he was eating a large chunk of meat.
I was deeply terrified when I saw this.
Then this huge monster walked towards the podium, just as he got there, all the monsters at the auditorium screamed with a loud shout as they kneeled at the same time and frequency.
All Hail, King Magodo "The god of Monsters"
As soon as I heard that, a I began to pee on my trouser.
Then he roared like a hungry lion and said;
Can we all welcome our new students to Monsterlo College?
Damn!! I was bewildered at the sound I heard from them all.
The auditorium was filled with loud roars and outcries.
King Magodo then said; we shall have them for dinner in a few hours from now.
Another roar and outcry were made by all the monsters once again.
After his speech, both Maryann and I were taken to different cells which were called "Gehenna".
That was the last I set my eyes on Maryann. I was thrown into the cell, without food or water.
Then I was lost in memories. I began to remember how that my Dad will carry me on his shoulders and say;
"Roy, I love and I will always be with you."
My Dad every word he said to me.
There was an occasion where I was attacked by five street boys who wanted to force me to give them my money.
I saw Dad come around and immediately they sighted him, they all took off like a tornado.
I hugged him and said; Dad, thanks for saving me.
Instantly, I began to sob and wail deeply.
Where are you, Dad?
Come and save me!!
Again, I was lost in contemplation
I could visualize the dream I had before leaving home where my Uncle was warning me to be careful.
Another stream of tears began flowing once more.
I just felt like taking my life. I was getting tired of this situation.
Was it my fault?
Did I make I mistake choosing to register with Monsterlo College?
How did I get here?
I kept asking myself these questions..
It dawned on me that I was hopeless and there wasn't any headway.
As I laid my head on the floor to sleep, I saw an old man, well stricken in age appear through the walls.
He was wearing a long white gown that looked seamless.
He tapped me and whispered Roy, wake up immediately.
I thought I was dreaming. How will an old man pass through the walls without being resisted?
How did he know my name was Roy?
Who are you? I asked with a trembling voice
He kept quiet for some minutes and said my son;
My name is Lord Zahyden. I'm Lord of the Caucasus which is an extension of Monsterlo City.
The Caucasus nation was a peaceful land where humans lived in harmony and unity, until we were attacked the God of Monsters "King Magodo"
Several of my people were killed while the rest were taken as captives and were later eaten by the monsters.
