Izlandi was curled up into a small ball on her bed, her plaited hair fell onto her shoulder and she still wore her black dress that she wore for the feast, her green eyes were opened wide since she could hardly sleep as she pictured what was going to happen at any moment.
She could see clearly, thanks to the slivers of moon light that passed through the curtain, she looked at her palm that was shining as her mana surged into it, "Any second now," she smiled with anticipation.
Time passed by slowly, but it wasn't long before she heard the first shouts and screams, ringing within the corridors.
Izlandi's smile crept up further on her face as she heard more shouts, she curled her two tiny fists to her chest and felt her racing heart.
