The four days to Traunt passed by quickly, since they were in such close proximity to the city there were no bandits on the road, even without the presence of Captain Kira they faced no trouble on the roads.
The roads were pretty empty, and all those who moved were escorted by the guard of Traunt, the passing soldiers eyed Lirian's group with scepticism and on several occasions they came to see what was up with the group.
Who could blame the people when they saw a blind man leading a group of soldiers and refugees, also it didn't help that most of the soldiers in Lirian's group were just green horns who were not well known by the older soldiers.
That was when Captain Kira's letter of introduction came in useful, by showing it he was able to get most of them of his back, but even so three of the groups they encountered sent a member of their teams to join them, to ensure that they were heading to Traunt.
