The captain narrowed her eyes and her head snapped back in the direction of the village, the early morning mists were mostly gone, and the reflected light released by the coins throughout the village could be vaguely seen in a glimmer.
"We can discuss this later," the captain said to Lirian before heading into the village to find out what had happened.
As the captain and several of the soldiers rushed towards the commotion, Lirian took a seat on the soft grass that was covered in droplets of dew.
He returned to his thoughts about the news that they had just received.
"System run through the historical records, check if there are any historical instances where the noble house's restrictions on cultivator limits were lifted or ignored," Lirian ordered the system and set a couple parameters to get more accurate information.
Like most things, Lirian believed that history always held answers and just a few seconds later he was proved to be correct.
