It was early in the morning in Willcolly, Ana prepared breakfast along-side her daughters just like every other day but tension filled the house.
At one point during the night it seemed that her husband would rush over to the inn to chase Lirian out of the village, but after her desperate cries and a lot of begging from her part, he finally relented.
She wondered if her husband would start to resent her for thinking him not man enough to face Lirian, but in the face of a cultivator, she'd rather have a resentful husband over a dead one.
