Kathy's Pov
-Flashback-
"Are you there?"
"Kathy?"
"Are you Alright?"
Those are the messages I receive when I opened my phone. I just came out of the bathroom and my eyes started to get swollen and turn purple. I don't have any make up, I don't even know how to use it.
I touch my purple eye and wince when I felt the pain. I tapped my phone and texted Jack:
"I'm alright. I just went outside and grab some beer for my Dad. I don't know if I can make it tonight on the hill."
I sat on my bed and waited for his text and my eyes begin to sting. I wish we have a fridge so I can put ice on my eyes.
My phone vibrated, "Why? Did something happened?" He texted back.
I tapped my phone, "No, not really. Nothing happened, I just changed my mind."
"Something happened. What is it?" He texted immediately. "I'm coming."
