Nancy got out of the car when she reached the stop where she needed to get off.
She walked all the way to an old apartment in Murica. She went upstairs, where they had been staying since they came to Murica.
The two-bedroom, one-living room apartment was very small, but it was very cozy.
Nancy put on a mischievous smile as soon as she entered the house. She started to shout at Grayson, who was definitely waiting for her at home. "I'm back!"
Grayson came out of the kitchen.
When he saw Nancy, he smiled gently and said, "Nancy, I could have guessed you are about to return. I made you some soup, belly beef brisket soup."
"I'll pour you a bowl, okay?"
Nancy nodded and said, "Okay!"
She walked to the dining table and sat down, waiting obediently.
Soon, Grayson brought the soup over and placed it in front of her.
