John leaned closer to Kathleen, and she caught a whiff of the faint tobacco smell on him, causing her to retreat and shook her head unconsciously. "No, I'm fine!"
"If you feel uncomfortable anywhere, you must tell the doctor or me!"
John stooped over and looked at her. "Don't force yourself to resist the pain. Do you understand?"
"Yes, Young Master!"
Then, John fed her the last scoop of porridge and placed the empty bowl on the table. "Okay, you should get some rest. I'll find the time to revisit you!"
Kathleen nodded her head. "Alright."
He took another look at her before opening the door and left the hospital.
Kathleen watched him leave, and the light in her eyes became extremely complicated.
After John left the hospital, he drove back to Lambert's residential villa.
John parked his car at the hall's entrance, and as soon as he got out of the vehicle, he saw Sherri running out from the house.
