Erwin asked, "Why didn't you tell me?"
He was not criticizing her, but he just did not understand.
If she had told him earlier that Henry was his son, he would not have given up on her no matter what. He would have taken her as his wife and protected her and the child.
He would not have let Henry fall ill for so long!
He would have thought of a way to immediately save the child's life, using his bone marrow.
"Why would I tell you?" Nancy asked.
She looked at Erwin with an icy glare and continued, "If I had told you back then, wouldn't you have continued to pester me?"
"I didn't want to be pestered by you!"
"As for what happened after that..."
Nancy's lips curled up again.
She smiled sarcastically and asked, "Didn't I go to Hillford to look for you? I wanted to see you and talk to you about Henry, but what about you?"
"You've been avoiding me. You're not willing to see me."
Erwin was speechless
