She once again pulled her hand out of John's palm.
That pair of eyes that were once filled with love had diminished. She said with a mocking smile, "John, I would have lived more peacefully without you pestering me!"
"Without your protection, there wouldn't be so many women who would want to take my lifetime and time again! Sherri, the clones, and Diana!"
Kathleen smiled icily. "I don't have to worry about that."
Kathleen looked at John and continued, "Without you, which one of them would want me dead!"
Kathleen continued, "Yes, the clones had something to do with me, but without you, I would have destroyed the clones long ago if it weren't for you!"
