Sherri shook her head.
She lied without batting an eyelid. "I couldn't find a chance at all!"
"Not only that, the pill that could save my life was snatched away by Bruno. I was almost killed by him..." Sherri cried as she spoke.
Jerry really believed her nonsense.
Sherri even told Jerry, "I was worried about you. I was worried that you would suffer in the water prison every day. I was afraid that you wouldn't be able to hold on and wanted to come and see you."
"It wasn't until today that Bruno left the island that I had the chance..."
Jerry immediately interrupted Sherri.
Jerry widened his eyes and looked at Sherri. "What did you say? Bruno actually left the island?"
Sherri nodded. "Yes."
"He left early this morning. I heard him secretly saying that he was going out to look for a woman who was very important to him."
Jerry immediately laughed.
