She was not willing to accept what had happened today!
Kathleen turned around.
She looked at the man who was lying on the ground.
He was already injured and sick. He was already bleeding heavily.
His head and face were covered in blood.
The white shirt that she had just changed him into was dyed red with blood.
Kathleen's heart ached as she looked at John. "Are you alright?"
John smiled and shook his head. "I'm fine."
Just as he finished speaking, John fainted.
"John!" Kathleen shouted worriedly.
She immediately got someone to help John up. She went to pick up John's prosthetic leg that had been kicked away and looked for a doctor to treat John.
Fortunately, John had only fainted after being seriously injured.
After being treated by the doctor, he was stabilized.
Kathleen stayed by John's side and fell asleep.
The next morning, John woke up and opened his eyes.
