Had John actually fainted from Kathleen's push?
Kathleen found out the truth.
Kathleen thought John was lying to her again. She said coldly, "John, that's enough! Do you think you can lie to me again?"
There's no response.
John lay motionless on the ground.
Kathleen frowned and continued to say coldly, "No matter how much you pretend, even if it's true, it's impossible for me to feel sorry for you!"
"You'd better get up and go before I have you thrown out!"
Still nothing.
Kathleen frowned even more. She suddenly remembered that when John touched her and held her, the temperature of this man's body…
He has a fever!
Kathleen immediately crouched down to check.
Her hand touched John's forehead. It was very hot.
The damn man really had a fever!
Kathleen was so flustered that she forgot that John had already fainted and asked, "What's wrong with you? How did you burn so badly?"
