He did not think too much of it.
He put away his phone and walked towards Susan's ward.
Meanwhile, Nancy, who was on the other side of Hillford, had hung up the phone. Her lips curled into a mocking sneer.
She looked out of the window at the pitch-black night sky.
She stood there for a long time with the cool breeze blowing.
Then, Nancy made another call. "Kathy, I'm in trouble. I want to ask you for a favor."
Nancy and Kathleen met when they were young.
Back then, Kathleen often asked Nancy for help. Nancy would help Kathleen buy food, and so on.
In the past few years, Kathleen disappeared for a few years because everyone thought she was dead. Then, as she grew older, Kathleen never asked Nancy for help again.
However, friendship lasts forever.
Nancy really could not think of anyone else who would help her, only Kathleen!
