He was stunned when he saw Shane, with injury, appear at the door.
Then his face darkened. "What are you doing here?"
A few days ago, Shane said he would stay to protect Kathleen. He sent Anne and Tommy away. When he came back, he was missing.
"I'm looking for miss."
Facing John's cold tone, Shane did not care, pushed him away, and walked in.
Kathleen, who was sitting at the dining table, heard Shane's voice, and a smile immediately appeared on her face.
She immediately fumbled to get up. John was afraid that she would fall, so he quickly went forward to support her.

Shane looked at John, then answered, "Well, it went well."
