After Tidas left, his subordinate immediately went forward. "Young master, Shane is back."
Upon hearing that Shane was back, Tidas's brows twitched slightly. "What about the Kathleen? Did she come back with you?"
"I didn't see the young miss," his subordinate reported truthfully.
Tidas's dark eyes turned cold. "How did Shane fail?"
As he spoke, Tidas strode toward the hall.
Shane was being arranged to sit at the side. His body was covered in injuries, and his clothes had many holes. He looked very disheveled.
Yesterday, he had been thrown off the cliff by Bach. Fortunately, he had been blocked by a tree branch, which slowed down the speed of his fall. That had allowed him to escape death and save his life.
However, his injuries were not light either.
At the bottom of the cliff, there was a deep pool of mud.
He had gone through many difficulties and finally found the exit.
