Anne whispered, "Uncle Bach, I won't eat the ice cream today. Let's eat it another day."
Bach nodded. "Okay."
Anne hissed again. "You can't tell mommy about this!"
Bach's lips curled up. He looked down at the girl in his arms. "Understood."
As he spoke, Kathleen had already walked in front of the three of them. She asked curiously, "It's so late. Why did you guys come out?"
As soon as she finished speaking, she carried Anne over from Bach's embrace.
Bach said indifferently, "I just brought them out for a walk. Children love rainy days."
"You said that you came out to do something. What is it? Do you need my help?"
Kathleen shook her head. "No need. It's just a small matter."
She can not let Bach know about the waiter. Otherwise, he would be able to find out quickly about the poisoning.
If the Yates family found out about it, it would be a big problem.
"Alright, it's getting late. Let's go back and rest."
