The lunch was sumptuous and extremely nutritious.
There was a table full of pork with preserved vegetables, garlic oysters, pickled fish, fried pork liver, chicken soup, braised pork and fruits.
"Uncle Lu, eat more." Gu Chu stood on tiptoe and placed a piece of braised pork into Lu Shanhe's bowl. "My mommy said that even if you're busy with work, don't forget to eat. Otherwise, your body will collapse. If you don't eat, you'll be famished."
Lu Shanhe originally didn't have much of an appetite. When he saw the cute and obedient Gu Chu, he happily ate two more pieces of meat. "Thank you, Chuchu."
Gu Chu's eyes were curved.
Beside him, Song Chen coughed slightly. "Chuchu, I'm usually busy with work too. I also have stomach problems."
What he meant was, "daughter, don't always put food in the bowl for outsiders!"
