Deus' ability to attract trouble from his status as a protagonist was superior to other protagonists. Not that Deus was aware of that as he didn't care much about Haize's appearance.
For Deus, he had already thought of Haize as his stepping stone to becoming stronger. But due to his weak power level, Deus didn't support the three alien students yet as he was busy improving his power level as fast as possible without destroying his foundation.
While Haize was unaware of Frost Glacier's plans, Frost Glacier was aware that Haize was unaware of his plans.
That alone made Frost Glacier confident that his plan could work as long as there weren't any unforeseen variables.
With that confidence in mind, Frost Glacier used his ice manipulation again but not to create ice mirrors as the space cube domain was already filled with it.
