Jeremy became the main attacker while Joshua and Shirley focused on applying debuffs on Haize, while Joshua often added buffs toward Jeremy. When Jeremy was starting to get overwhelmed by Haize's demon fire, Joshua would strengthen Jeremy's attacks while weakening Haize's demon fire at the same time.
Haize couldn't escape even if he wanted to due to Shirley. Due to the gravity field around Haize, his speed was too slow to escape from Jeremy's clutches. And even if he managed to outsmart Jeremy and escape from Jeremy's attack range, Haize couldn't escape that far due to Shirley's space cube domain.
Haize didn't doubt his capabilities in being able to destroy the space cube barrier but even he found out that it would take him at least an hour just to destroy it.
