The purpose of accumulating contribution points was to be eligible to act on behalf of Real Delusion to deal with the Luo Clan. After all, being a member of Real Delusion meant that they need to mind their actions, or else the organization would be implicated by their actions.
That was the thing that restricted their freedom. Of course, they could bypass that restriction by using enough contribution points.
They could even use the name Real Delusion to commit terrorism as long as they had enough contribution points. So even if they killed the president of a country using the manpower of Real Delusion, they wouldn't be held accountable and the organization would even shelter them from the backlash of their actions as long they had enough contribution points to do so.
