Since humanity had already gathered a group of warriors that could deal with those aliens, it wouldn't cause too much panic amongst the people if the existence of aliens were publicized. That was why they didn't plan on holding Deus accountable for revealing his ability since they could even use it as publicity for Deus' debut as a warrior if ever Deus accepted their recruitment.
They would use the media to hail Deus as a hero for saving the public from aliens and encourage those that have awakened their abilities to become warriors and join their cause in dealing with the aliens that have invaded planet earth.
