When she opened her eyes, before her is a blue sky with a lot of clouds, drifting and spreading across the horizon. It was a marvelous sight. The smell of grass lingering with the wind gently blows through her hair. The gentle sounds coming from the nearby bushes and trees bring the surroundings to life. She is currently lying on the ground, surrounded by a vast green grass field, her eyes gleam at the blue sky above her with enthusiasm.
"... This is way too real to be a dream..."
Although she just woke up from a seemingly long nap. She does not feel tired at all. Instead filled with vigor and energy so much that she feels could do anything.
But now is not the time for that. She thought as her mind slowly start working again. Ignoring the scene in front of her face.
"Where am I?" she said nervously.
Lazily standing up her body. Which made her surprised, she did not expect her movement to be so fluid. Just until the day before she could barely feel her limbs. She takes a look at her surrounding. Beside her is a trail lead to somewhere down the hill, and as she gazed further down, she could see dozens of wooden houses in the distance and vast farmland. It is a village big enough to be called a town. It brings forth the nostalgic feeling of a fantasy adventure game that she has been playing recently. The longer she looks, the more familiar it seems.
"I'll be damned... It is the same place in that game. Looks like Eyllisarnith kept her promise"
Before she could finish processing the scene, there was an explosion big enough to shake the ground she is standing on, follow that a loud sound coming from behind her along the road not far away. That is one hundred percent is the sound of battle ongoing.
"This reeks of troubles... Should I go?"
While she was contemplating whether she will go or not, her body instinctively picks up a nearby wooden stick. Ignoring the fact that whatever caused the explosion that big could not be good news. That is her nature, courageous and selfless, she can never deny it even if that nature is the reason for her downfall.
But before she rushes into some unknown battle in an unknown situation and a strange place. There is something she absolutely must try first
"I... Inventory?" she murmured.
A window popped up with a well-known sound of which she heard thousands of times. Inside is filled with dozens of items. She then picks up one of the most trusted item she had from the inventory - a dark red katana named "Tengu' Breath", which has been accompanied her throughout the game, is one of the strongest weapons a player can obtain and is the fear of many other players when confronting her.
A grin appeared on her face. A battle maniac one.
With a sword in one hand. The girl runs towards the source of the screams.
