Jen hastily ran into the room after running a marathon from the market, she didn't.listen to valet when he called her back as she pretended as if no one was calling her. She breathed heavily as she touched her chest to calm herself, she felt really hot so she went to the bath to get cold water on her body to chill her nerves.
When she was done bathing and also eating, she slipped into her nightgown as she laid on the bed awaiting valet. She wanted to fulfill her promise of riding him, thinking about the naughty things she would do to him, her face flushed red. She shook her head at herself, she was turning to a pervert and it's all because of valet.
Sitting abruptly on the bed, she stared out the window, it was dark but valet hasn't come back to the room. She thought of looking for him, why was he still outside at this hour, even the castle's light was off.
She hastily rushed out if the room but she couldn't see in the dark, the castle was so dark without light and the wind made her shiver uncontrollably. She went back to the room and her hands found the lamp. She lit it as she walked outside, closing the door gently as she walked with her bare feet.
She wasn't even concerned about the transparent nightgown she wore that reached her knee and exposed her cleavages. Her dishelleved hair was swept to a side due to the wind.
She stepped on a bottle and she grimaced in pain, she took a look at her feet which was bleeding, she tore her dress as she wrapped it around her feet so it would stop bleeding. Limping on a foot, she heard voices and she quickly hid behind the pillar as she turned off the lamp.
She strained her ears until she was able to listen to their conversation, her eyes widened in shock when she heard;
"Valet, when are you planning on attacking the vampires?" Antonio asked.
"Tommorow night" valet said and Antonio nodded but his next statement shocked Jen to the core.
"I am suspecting your wife, she isn't who you think she is" Antonio declared and valet frowned his face, what was the guy blurting.
"Antonio, maybe you need sone rest, why don't you go home" Valet asked and Antonio shook his head vigorously, he knew what he was talking about. That woman looked nothing like a vampire so how was she their princess, didn't valet ponder on it.
"If you would give me three days, I'll prove who she is" Antonio said and valet looked at him suspiciously, why was he interested in finding her real identity. What would he gain?.
"Alright, tell me if you need any help" Valet said and Antonio patted his shoulders.
"Sure, I won't let you down" Antonio said before dispersing into the darkness and Jen didn't hear anything again.
Her heart was beating erratically in her chest, when she moved her feet, she groaned in pain. The glass was still stuck in her leg and she didn't have time to remove it now so she limped on a foot until she got to her room.
She was surprised to find the lights on and valet's arm crossed over his chest with a grave expression on his face as he watched his wife entering and shutting the door behind her.
"Where did you go?" He asked in a cold voice that sent chills down her spine, she has never seen him looking so terrifying, she knew she was wrong to have gone out in the night.
"I..I uhm, I went to the dining room" Jen lied, she faked a smile as she walked closer to him, dropping the lamp on the bedside table. She stood in front of him, his expression didn't change and Jen wondered why he was angry at her. She should be angry at him because he was planning to annihilate the vampires.
She leaned on him to kiss him, when her lips almost landed on his, he asked a question that made her stop and she slowly looked up into his eyes.
"You went to the dining room, dressed in a nightgown?" He asked and she swallowed with her gaze locked on his, what was she going to say?, she really didn't go to the dining room but to eavesdrop on their conversation.
"Tell me where you went dressed like this?" He demanded and she looked away from him.
"Alright, I'll say the truth, I listened to your conversation" Jen said truthfully and she heard valet let out a long sigh.
"You heard what Antonio said didn't you?, who are you?" Valet asked coldly and Jen felt her heart shattering as she heard him speaking to her in such hostile tone.
"I am Fiona, why are you doubting me?" Jen asked, she cursed herself in her mind for lying so much, when would she stop deceiving him. When would he know the truth, but would he spare her after he knew what she did to him?. He was reacting this way because he doubted her, what if he found out the truth.
"I am not, I trust you" Valet said and Jen breathed a sigh of relief that his expression and voice changed. He lifted her chin up with his fingers as he stared deep into her eyes.
"Don't forget what I am capable of doing" Valet said and Jen shivered, she needed to leave the castle before she got exposed but can she leave the one she loves. She thought of staying with him, that way even if he hate her, she would still see him. She knew he was going to punish her for sure if he found out. But he loved her didn't he?, would he still punish someone he loves.
Valet lips twisted into a smile and he let out a throaty chuckle, this woman was so amusing, she looked like his scaredy cat as she stared at him with that red eyes.
