As if noticing her, he slowly turned to face her, Jen felt her heart beating loudly in her chest by the way he stared at her with those piercing red eyes. she didn't know what was happening to her, was she sick?.
"Sit" he said, Jen slowly sat on the chair opposite him, the food was served and Jen began to eat, she made sure to keep her gaze locked on the food as she did not look at him.
The tension in the air was too much and valet wanted everything to stop, for the first time in his life he became short for words, he became nervous and the knot in his stomach suddenly made him want to heave.
"Why don't you tell me about yourself?" he asked after they finished eating, she raised her head lazily as her gaze met with his.
"What did you want to know your highness?" Jen asked.
"Everything" he said plainly.
"I am Fiona, princess of the vampire kingdom and nothing else you need to know" She said and he looked at her stunned, nothing else he needs to know?, he was the husband here and he would decide when she should stop.
"What about your hobbies?" he asked her and she shook her head.
"You don't have any hobbies?" he asked and she gave a simple nod, Jen wanted all this to end so she would find an escape to get away from this monster, monster?, but he treated her differently last night, maybe he also has a heart, well she doesn't care, she only cared about finding her parents.
"Did you know why I married you?" he asked and she rolled her eyes, she knew she was being arrogant and rude, but she couldn't help it, she wanted this man to lose interest in her, she couldn't be with him.
"I don't your highness" she replied, her voice sounded like she was in a haste but valet wasn't going to release her anytime soon.
"To kill you" he said and her eyes widened, he couldn't mean what he said, could he?.
"What?, are you surprised?" valet asked as he started emitting a very dangerous aura, Jen couldn't help but think if this was the same person patting and fondling with her hair while singing a song for her. She would be sane to think he has a heart, but why would he want to kill Fiona.
"No your highness" she said and the man looked at her amused, she wasn't surprised by his outburst.
"Why would you want to kill me?" Jen asked as she swallowed her lumps, he looked so terrifying right now and she was so petrified by his look.
"You killed my sister, don't expect me to remain quiet" he said and her forehead creased, what a claptrap, how dare he say that?, Fiona wasn't part of the people they fought with, Fiona stayed in her room the entire time there was a ruckus going on. well they deserved it for breaking into the castle to fight, anybody they killed was none of Fiona's fault.
"It isn't my fault, I wasn't part of those that killed your sister" Jen said and she heard him scoff.
"You would atone for their sins" Valet said, but his gaze softened he just wanted her to get scared of him.
"You can't punish me, I am innocent here" Jen retorted.
"You aren't, the fact that the vampires killed my sister still remains, since you are their princess you would pay for killing my sister" Valet said plainly, he was expecting the woman to beg for her dear life like the maid he saved the other day, but this princess looked pigheaded and she wasn't ready to submit herself to him anytime soon.
"Alright what did you want me to do?" Jen asked.
"Why?, are you planning on leaving after you've acceded my request?" Valet asked and she shook her head, she didn't want valet to get the slightest hint that she wanted to escape.
"No your highness" Jen replied.
"What if I bond you with me forever, that way you wouldn't leave even if you have to" He said as he smiled devishlly.
"You can't bond me with you forever" Jen said, she was sane to have asked this monster what he wants from her. What if he said 'Love me back' she thought, she couldn't like this man, not at all.
"Oh yes I can, with this" he said and In a swift moment, he gently pressed his lips on hers as he kissed her deeply, Jen struggled to get free but he held her down with his hands as he kissed her passionately tasting all corners of her red lips.
Jen felt butterflies in her stomach, she didn't know why kissing him felt so good, she felt her body trembling and acting on its own, she wanted to stop it but he held her down in place as he kept kissing her.
Valet pulled from the kiss as he smirked at her, he loved it whenever she trembles under his touch.
"I am very sure you would surrender to me, you wont even think about leaving me" he said as he smirked again, feeling her body trembling.
"Y-y-our wishful thinking" Jen said as she hurried away, she wasn't in control of her body, she ran into his room as she closed the door shut behind her, she placed her hands on her chest, it was beating too fast, that was the same way she felt when he kissed her.
"Stupid man" she cursed inwardly as she tried to steady her breath she tried to fan herself with her hands, she was feeling so hot.
