Chapter 243 - Mad Countdown

Chapter 243: Mad Countdown

Junk fully intended to win this game.

However, it didn't seem like he was going to be the one to come out on top.

Monsoon was just as determined to be victorious than he was.

"Ahhmnm!" Lord Monsoon shouted as he dispersed a powerful and deadly wave of storm energy right in his face, which projected him backward, which was bad enough since Junk nearly came down to the ground, but what was even worse was that he was suddenly stripped of his armor.

The demonic Halloween suit of armor was gone.

It was pulverized.

"My armor…"

The armor simply vanished into thin air. There was no telling if the armor was ever going to come back.

"Summon: Halloween Armor!" Junk shouted.

Junk tried summoning it again, but it didn't work.

"Summon: Halloween Armor," he tried summoning it yet again, but it wouldn't come back.

"What's wrong? Can't fight without your precious metal armor, huh?" Monsoon asked her at the exact same time he summoned a huge two-handed heavy-blade that was chaotically enchanted with malevolent electricity. He raised his weapon in the air as he was about to hit the protection-less Junk with it…

"Darn it…"

Junk had to think of a solution and fast, otherwise…

"Say goodbye, Junk!"

This was all going on at the same time Monsoon was still under the control of the four elemental balls of light. The elements of the four seasons continued spinning all around his body. Soon, he'd be in control of the four seasons that he was missing.

He's about to cut my head off! Junk found himself in full-panic mode.

Slash!

The electric two-handed battle sword came down, ripping through the wind as the wielder fully intended to kill!

Squish!

I'm supposed to be dead… Why am I not dead?

That was true.

He was still breathing.

When Junk finally re-opened his eyes, there was something slimy covering his body.

It was green.

Junk recognized it almost right away…

This is… The elemental green creature that was cooked up in the cauldron…

It was the same as before, except that it was covering his body. It was slimy and squishy at first, but only for a limited-time as it morphed into a thick layer all over his body. The slime monster became a protective green coat around, replacing the vanished demonic armor that he recently wore.

"What the heck?" Lord Monsoon's heavy-blade stayed stuck in the slimy substance.

He tried yanking it out, but it didn't work at first.

"Give it back!" Monsoon called out.

The slime monster shielded me…

"It's the green slime from the marsh! I mean, I saw him in the woods earlier!" April mentioned.

"So, it followed us all the way here?" September was intrigued by this. No one, save for April knew that this entity was even still alive to begin with. It certainly was and it had, indeed, followed them to the witch village.

"Such a strange creature…" Bridget commented.

"I said: Give it back!" Monsoon became even more enraged.

Then, something new happened with the green slime… As it covered Junk's body, it slowly began changing shape…

The slime creature became Junk's new armor.

That one resembled the old one he had however, this one was of a toxic green color. This new armor was also much spikier than the other one he had. The green slime creature reacted to the violent attack Monsoon just had on him. The creature didn't want to see him go down, so he covered the entire organic armor in deadly spikes. Monsoon couldn't approach Junk as much as he used to now. The barbarian still tried pulling his heavy-blade out of his armor, but as soon as he tried doing so again, the spikes on the armor defensely reacted and they abruptly grew, charging at Monsoon.

"Curse you!" Monsoon shouted as he suddenly pulled out, attempting to avoid the green spikes as fast as he could, yet, he never quit trying to pull his blade out of the armor. Monsoon had to give up something.

Sush!

Sush!

Two of the green spikes cut deep into the barbarian's muscular arms as they were still extended in the hope to recoger his weapon.

He had to give up on that entirely pretty fast.

Blood erupted out of his arms.

Monsoon groaned in pain.

He finally stepped back from Junk, re-thinking his approach.

I'm… Still alive, and now I have a chance to win this battle… Junk thought as he became confident again.

Junk stood up.

"Let me guess, can't fight on your own, huh?" Monsoon taunted him.

Then…

Crunch!

The handle of the heavy-blade stuck in the green and organic armor was broken. The blade was separated from the handle. Now, the weapon was rendered useless.

"My blade…"

"Guess you don't have it anymore."

"Greenie came to Junk's help…" April murmured.

"What are you saying, now? Greenie? What's that?" September asked her. The two of them were becoming themselves again. With a little more time and hope, they were going to be freed from Monsoon's control, and that was also including the others such as Bridget and Pepo and the rest of the inhabitants of the witch village. If Junk continued fighting Monsoon like this, they would be freed in no time.

Everyone was supporting Junk and Junk was supporting around him in his life.

He was fighting for them and their lives and their livelihoods.

"That's his name. Greenie," April confirmed to April.

"That's the green creature from the cauldron, how do you know its name?" September didn't believe her.

"I met him in the woods earlier during your battle with Monsoon. He told me everything. Greenie wants to help Junk. He's helping him win this fight. He became his new armor," April explained.

"If you say so…" September still had her doubts about that.

"Monsoon! This time, you are not going to get teleported out of here! The gloves are off!" Junk shouted as greenie, the green elemental slime creature continued covering more of his body until his ax was also submerged in the metallic and spiky green coating.

Junk raised his ax in the air and swung it right at Monsoon's head!

"Halloween Slime: Spooky Ax!" Junk shouted the name of his new attack right at the same time his green, spooky ax violently hit Monsoon's head!

Thud!

An impressive burst of green energy exploded all over Monsoon.

He was hurt.

Then, September, April, Pepo, Bridget, and all the other wicked witches at the village finally regained their consciousness and they could move again.

"We can move again!" April shouted.

"That means that we can fight this bastard, too…" September immediately thought of that. The Halloween witch summoned her flying broomstick. She hopped on it, began riding it, and she flew close enough to Monsoon, so she could shoot a burst of burning flame at Monsoon. "Autumn Sorcery: Halloween Blitz!" September also shouted the name of her attack.

"Spring Sorcery: Nature's fangs!" April called out as she used her magic to enlarge her fangs, making them emerald green. April leaped at Monsoon and bit his left arm.

"Autumn Sorcery: Pumpkin Vine!" Pepo fought as well. She raised her right arm and an orange and green vine sprung out of it, targeting and hitting Monsoon's chest.

"Autumn Sorcery: Deadly Fall Leaves!" Finally, there was also Bridget who used one of her strongest autumn spells to attack his entire body in one move.

"No… Impossible.." Monsoon grunted in pain.

But it was not over yet…

"Halloween Slime: Grand Spooky Ax!" All of a sudden, Junk came back at it and his battle ax grew triple its size to reach a giant form.

Junk slashed Lord Monsoon one more time in a powerful finisher!

"No…" Monsoon grunted one last time.
