Chapter 166 - Calm Night At The Marsh

Chapter 166: Calm Night At The Marsh

Deeper into the night, as the party was supposed to be sleeping, resting for tomorrow, April was making a whore of herself, as she often did.

She had decided tonight that she was going to be a slut for Junk, but he was a little too exhausted, unfortunately.

No questions asked. While September had chosen to sleep in a separate room from the others, leaving the bigger and much better room to the Minotaur and the elf, April still couldn't find any sleep. This was the better room of what remained of the entire cabin, yet, she had difficulties calming herself down to the point of falling asleep. She simply couldn't. While she was sharing the room, (the one where there was an old library) with Junk, she could hear the beast snoring out loud, making that much more difficult for her to find sleep. However, typically, his bestial snoring didn't stop her too much from falling asleep, but it did this time. Not because of the snoring specifically, but because she had gone to bed without any sexual satisfaction or relief. Junk didn't do her tonight.

He was too tired.

Traveling in The Morgan Marsh, walking through the murky waters of the swamp in search of the cauldron shards all day long, had taken quite a toll on her. Without mentioning the wrestling contest with Gil during the confusing ambush. Which he survived. In the middle of the night, still unable to fall asleep, April turned around in her bedroll a lot before finally standing up. She observed the Minotaur‒still hearing him snore a lot, she understood that it wasn't going to work. She understood that she wasn't going to wake up and be able to be satisfied, so she could finally stop thinking about this and fall asleep. Furthermore, she sighed. She knew it was no use to even try to wake him up. So, as she stood naked in the middle of the ancient library, she fetched a green nightgown she had in her bag.

Put it on as well as a pair of sexy-looking high-heeled sandals. She slowly and quietly left the room. She walked down the corridor, and silently opened the only door of the wooden cabin before closing it behind herself and making her way onto the partially destroyed porch. Not only that, but she walked across it before ultimately deciding to sit down on the edge of the porch.

Her feet were nearly touching the dark and murky water down below, but not quite. She was able to keep them dry and to slowly and calmly move them as she waited there and observed the night sky. But really, the dark sky wasn't the reason as to why she had gotten up and left the cabin in the middle of the night. She moved her feet at constant frequency and eventually decided to hit the swamp water now and then…

Now and then… She was looking for something. She was hoping to find someone. Likewise, she was hoping to attract someone by occasionally kicking the water with her feet. There was someone she was hoping to meet again tonight, and it had nothing to do with September or Junk. It had absolutely nothing to do with them whatsoever.

Tonight, April was feeling like exchanging thoughts with someone else. Someone they had already met earlier today, but that she, unfortunately, hadn't had the opportunity to be alone, one on one with…

Come on. Please. Hear the water splashing, she thought, begging this inhabitant of this marsh to hear her feet kicking the water. She never stopped. She continued and continued until she was going to receive some kind of answer from the underwater creature…

"Come on. Hear me," she said out loud this time, even though it only was a faint murmur that only she could hear. She did this for the longest time, for nearly twenty minutes, before she was about to lose patience and hope. It was now becoming clearer to her that she wouldn't be able to meet and talk to Gill again tonight, as she was hoping to thank him for helping them.

On a completely different side of things, April was still hoping to have some fun tonight with the one and only man she adored, Junk.

However, since he was so exhausted, she was going to have to do something alone, all by herself tonight. She was going to have to masturbate herself, and it was okay…

"I guess Junk won't wake up anytime soon… That's too bad…" she murmured again as she was about to pull her feet out of the water and come back inside the wooden cabin until‒her right leg was suddenly caught by something underneath the water.

It was hand. Her leg was just grabbed by a hand. Beyond being wet, the hand was slippery, moist, and slimy, and immediately made her believe that it could only be one of the hands of the amphibian friend they met with today: Gil.

It could only be him. The hand that just grabbed her leg felt like it was his, with the membranes and skin webbing between the fingers. April smiled. She was surprised by this. She had lost all hope at this point. Furthermore, she looked down to discover the underwater creature that had recently shown up. With the little bright light that the moon was casting on the marsh, she was able to determine that the bog monster that had just grabbed her leg wasn't the one she knew.

It wasn't Gil.

Her smile turned into a frown. The creature, which was directly staring at her as she popped her head to look, was similar to Gil in the sense that it was an amphibian/humanoid creature, but the similarities stopped there. The creature, which held her leg, was much, much more disgusting than Gil was. Gil had a green and yellow color scheme to his amphibian skin. But this other water creature had a black and brown color scheme. He also had sharper fangs sticking out of his mouth and more menacing eyes.

"Mistake. I am not sleeping. Not yet…" the creature replied to her.

"What the?" she didn't know what else to say.

"You have been kicking the water since earlier, have you been calling for me? You did, right?" he asked her.

"What? No… I don't know… I didn't…"

"Give me a shot, princess," he said as he was about to pull her underwater with him. April had made a mistake. She had made a grave mistake in venturing out of the wooden cabin in the middle of the night…

It was too late for her to go back now.
