Chapter 163 - Revisiting The Marsh

Chapter 163: Revisiting The Marsh

Sleeping with a belly full of September's mana milk last night, Junk had no idea that he was ever going to come back into the marsh. The Morgan Marsh where it all happened. Where the magical cauldron of September's master was accidentally broken by the Minotaur. The next thing he knew, he was stepping in watery and swampy terrain. Getting his boots all dirty and watery. A swamp wasn't exactly his favorite playground, but he had to do what he had to do. Even if that meant that he had to go knee-deep into a swamp.

"Why are we here again?" the demon asked his witch master.

"I was able to detect energy sources that relate to the shards in this area…" September replied to him. She couldn't be seen as she was somewhere. Closer to him. But somewhere else.

"Was that before or after I milked you last night?" he asked.

"Really?" September couldn't believe he actually said that out loud. The knight was truly rebelling himself against her and challenging her over and over again. Even if it was for short and simple things such as mentioning what he had done to her out loud. Showing supremacy for his ownership of her, as far as it was the case for her milk, anyway. And as if someone was here in the marsh with them. Nobody was, except for them. And nobody was ever going to hear what he had done to her last night.

So, at the end of the day, it was pretty stupid of him to do this. But she perfectly knew why he was doing this. The demon desperately wished to fuck her. And since that he now knew that it was going to happen, one way or another, as she was planning it, according to her last night, he couldn't wait.

His blood was rushing through his veins. His dick erect at all times. He couldn't wait to one day make her his. Thinking about it made him go wild and excited him so much that he could barely keep moving forward in the swamp. The sheer idea of breeding with her was enough to make him go through the worst shit. If he had to go through hell in order to mate with her, he was going to do it for sure.

"You are still thinking about that?" September asked him.

"Witch. I'm thinking about sucking on your big titties and drinking your delicious and nourishing milk day and night."

"Anyway… So, I was able to detect more shards here."

"How come you were about to detect some here now and not before? I mean, this is exactly where the cauldron originally was and that I broke it. So, why weren't you able to detect them before? This would have saved us a lot of time and effort," he said to her.

"I totally agree with you, demon. But to be honest with you: This is still a mystery to me. I am not sure why I wasn't able to detect them sooner. And back then, it would have made sense to find shards here. But we didn't. And it's not like we didn't search here. We did. A lot. But we didn't find any. Which makes no sense. I wish I knew why more are here and now. This is something we can investigate a bit more on after we find the ones in this region," The Autumn Witch explained and let him know about everything she knew to him without skipping a single beat or detail. She was still heard, but nowhere to be seen. She was close. But definitely not done in the mud and in the swampy water. She wasn't down here with him.

"We better find them quickly. I don't like this place too much. How many of them are there in this swamp?" he asked her.

"Three. There are three to gather in this region," she said.

"Where are they exactly? Where is the closest one for starters?" he asked her. The horned demon was in a hurry. He wished to get this done as soon as possible. Especially considering all the dangers that he and the rest of the group were all exposed to during the first trip here. It wasn't the kind of place he felt at peace at all.

"Um… I sense that the closest one is about a few feet from our position. In this pool of water. It's close. Really close. It must be down in the dark water of the swamp or something," she informed him. Keeping some fingers of her left hand on the side of her head, she did everything she could to concentrate as much as possible in the hope of tracking the first cauldron shard. Knowing this, alarmed the Minotaur. He was ready to go fishing in the dirty water now. The faster he could find the pieces and the sooner they could get out of the Morgan Marsh. Junk was stomping and shoving his hands into the dark water, blindly attempting to fish one of the three shards.

"So, it could be anywhere in this pool of water? We should have brought a fishing rod or something…" he mentioned to her.

"Don't worry. I'm certain you can still find it without a fishing rod. Use your animal instincts to try to find it in the swamp…"

"Animal instincts? I'm searching as best as I can. Why don't you come down from your cloud and help as well? It would save us some time…" he told her. He was right. She wasn't helping too much. And she wasn't even down in the swamp, really. She was sitting on the side of her flying broomstick. Her broomstick was hovering over him. Casting a bit of shadow over him. Which didn't help him either.

"I'm not going down there in the dirty water…" she replied.

"Why am I not surprised?" the Minotaur asked her.

"Hey! I get down and dirty all the time! It's not about that. I am trying to see if I can spot its shininess from above. That's all."

"Ah, okay…" he replied.

"Did we find it?" a tired voice was heard behind the Minotaur. It was April. She had just woken up. She was behind Junk's back. Arms surrounding him. Sitting on his back. Tagging along for the ride.

"Not yet…" he told her.

Then, out of nowhere, there suddenly were movements in the dark water. Something was moving. Something was here with them.
