Chapter 142 - Horizon Witch

Chapter 142: Horizon Witch

"Who are you?" Junk asked the figure.

"..." September turned serious all of a sudden.

"We have been watching ever since you escaped, September," the voice that came from under the hood was feminine. It was sexy. It was enticing. Junk was drawn to it as soon as he began hearing it.

"You?" The Autumn witch had her suspicious already.

"I don't like it…" the Minotaur murmured to himself.

"It's quite impressive that you were still able to gather a small but decent fan base, even after being pulled from all your duties as a Queen and officially labeled as a criminal," the hooded woman said.

"I said: 'Who are you?'. Tell me," the beast was angered.

"Junk. We have to run away. Now," September announced.

"But why? What is the problem?" the Minotaur asked her.

"Don't tell me you are leaving us, so soon," the hooded woman mentioned to her, right before the action truly started with her, revealing that she was carrying a wand with her. An elongated and thick, orange wand that suddenly came out of the right sleeve of her black robe. This was an act of violence. This was an act of aggression. As soon as she saw this, September brought her leafy, jack-o-lantern scepter closer to her chest, almost as if she was intending to protect her breasts more than anything else. In any case, she was on guard. And she was ready to react to the aggression demonstrated with the hooded figure, who just grabbed her wand and pointed it right toward the Autumn witch.

Right at her chest that she was hoping and intending to guard. September was not only intending to react and to guard herself, she was just as much, if not more, interested in attacking the hooded woman as soon as she pointed her wand at her. She leaned her jack-o-lantern scepter toward after swiftly bringing it closer to her chest and was hoping to do the same thing she was doing to her: Pointing her dangerous and magical weapon at her. They couldn't go back at this time. It was on.

A battle exploded in the middle of the streets. Most of the men and women who originally gathered around the former Witch Queen to talk to her after missing her for so long, ever since she was dethroned and booted off power, unfortunately, had no other choice to panic and run away. Most of them had already begun the process of fleeting. But there were still a couple of them who had more trouble than others to get out of the way, to get out of their way, as everyone pushed each other around. It was a complete mess, especially for the tall and strong Minotaur, who attempted to react as fast as he could. Originally, he tried attacking the hooded figure as soon as she pulled her wand out of her sleeve and pointed it toward his master, but due to the overwhelming amount of people, panicking, and running around in the street, this was sadly something that couldn't be done. He couldn't attack her and prevented her from menacing September.

"Out of my way! Out of my way!" Junk was angered even more. He couldn't believe that there were so many people in his way, unable to run the other way and to get to safety. This was the worst moment and absolute worst place to be engaged into a battle.

"Junk. Watch out. She's dangerous," September said to her monster right before casting a fire spell. She summoned a fireball out of thin air and projected it at the hooded assailant. She targeted her.

The infernal fireball was shot in her direction. It was flying toward her. It was going to touch her. September made sure to cast and fire the flame sphere at the right moment, during which there was no one in front of her. No common villagers were going to be hurt today. No innocent lives wasted. That was September's hope, at least. However, as a day and night contrast, Junk was meanwhile pushing villagers out of the way. Not hurting them. But pushing them out of his way, so they wouldn't accidentally get hurt by September or by this hooded figure. Accidentally or intentionally.

Unfortunately for the former Witch Queen, the hooded woman was able to block the fireball at the last moment. Absorbing it with her wand. Then, the next moment, the mysterious assailant counterattacked and cast her very own spell. An orange beam suddenly came out of the tip of her wand as she pointed it at September once more.

The beam surrounded her with an aura of orange light. Then, the next moment, before the horned beast could possibly do anything about it, the former Witch Queen was taken higher. She was literally lifted into the air. She couldn't move much, except flailing her feet. But she was going up without being able to stop it. She instinctively still kept her scepter firmly in her hands.

She could still use it. There was still a bit of hope. She tried focusing and casting a new spell that would fortunately aid her in evading this spell, but there was something blocking her from doing so. She couldn't move her arms enough. She tried. But she couldn't move her scepter toward the source of this spell: The hooded woman, who was down on the ground, looking up at the Autumn witch, who was being lifted in the sky.

Then, the next step for her, she swung her wand around again, this time, having for effect to manifest four walls made of orange light. The walls were surrounding September.

"You are going to stop this, and you are going to free her now!" furious, the Minotaur suddenly charged at the hooded figure, intending to beat her down in one powerful dash. However, the hooded woman swiftly jumped in the air at the last second. Avoiding him. The horned beast ran into a pole on the side of the street. Destroying it.

"We have been observing you for a long time…" the hooded figure said after perfectly landing back on her feet. She turned around. Looked at Junk before removing her hood.

The woman had orange hair and an eye patch.

"Pleasure to meet you, demon," she told him.
