Chapter 137 - Demons & Zombies

Chapter 137: Demon & Zombie

The battle between the demon and the zombie was raging on.

The demon being the horned beast that was Junk and the zombie being the resurrected guardian, who used to be working for September at one point in time. The guardian punched the Minotaur right in the face, over and over again, as all the prisoners were cheering for the two monsters to continue battling. The most excitement that they had in a long while. They were hitting their heads against the black, and rusted, iron bars. Hurting themselves. They didn't care.

Most of the prisoners here were humans.

A few of them were from different species. For example: There was a ghoul in one cell. There was a centaur in another cell. There also was a man with sharp spikes a little all over his body, much like a porcupine, but that was about it. The rest of the prisoners that could be seen on both sides of the corridor the battle happened into were humans. Humans or not, everyone kept cheering and bashing their heads against the black, iron bars of the cell. The guardian pushed the horned beast away from him. Junk resisted and pushed him as well. The two of them were strong. They couldn't be stopped by anyone, except by September, perhaps. And she was still in the other room, aiding the warden who had recently fallen. It was them. It was only them for the time being. Tired of having the horned beast in his way, the creature with the stitched together, red skin went berserk on him and began punching him in the chest. Over and over again.

Junk was quite fortunate to be the one who was wearing a complete set of armor. He was protected. Up to a certain point… The red creature was punching the Minotaur so hard in the chest that he was beginning to make a dent into his armor, right into the chest plate. Even though he was protected, Junk was definitely feeling the constant impacts on his chest. He was hurting. He tried pushing him out of the way and protecting himself even more, but the resurrected guardian was out of control. He was only and strictly focusing on destroying the vile demon that he saw in Junk. The sooner he killed him, the faster he could make it back to September.

Back to her precious milk. He was the only one in his way.

"Stop! You've got to stop this, or I'll have no other choice, to kill you!" Junk shouted at the resurrected guardian. He didn't listen to him. He continued punching his chest, making this dent into his armor bigger and deeper. Soon, the dent had turned into a hole. The hole was about to be cracked too, breaking his armor. The breaking of it was imminent. It was going to happen no matter what if he continued. "I said: 'Stop!', do you hear me?" he shouted at him one more time, desperate to reason with him, but it was hopeless. Nothing could make him stop at this point. Without Junk even knowing or noticing about it, September was coming down the corridor behind. She was running this way. She was coming to support her demon. Was it going to be too little, too late?

"Milk… Witch… Milk… Witch… Milk…" those were the only two words that the guardian of the Autumn Tower was telling him. He probably didn't even understand that he was telling him to stop fighting. It didn't register. He kept pushing his chest plate until a crack was finally made into… Junk was officially injured. The pressure greatly wounded the Minotaur's chest . If it kept going like this, Junk was going to die. So, he did what he thought about doing for the past minute or so. Junk suddenly went for a leap of fate and instead of continuing to protect himself, he decided to drop everything and to rush one more time at the creature with his head. One more charge.

"You asked for it… Bull Over Dash!" he shouted, the name of his attack, as he rushed even closer at the creature, coming at him at what seemed to be the speed of light. He dashed at him before he could punch his chest again and directly attacked him with both of his sharp, Minotaur horns. The next instant, Junk stood on the other side of the creature with the red creature. He mystically appeared on the other side of him. The resurrected monster was still standing, attempting to punch something that was not there. Everyone was motionless for a few seconds, even though it felt like it lasted for an eternity. Then, it happened. The creature's head came off of his shoulders and hit the ground. Rolled all over it. It was done. He was defeated. Then, Junk panted like crazy. He could barely keep standing up like this after such a fatal and powerful and demanding dash.

"Junk!" September shouted his name as she came, rushing this way. Too little, too late. But at least, she was there when the Minotaur looked like he was dying. Blood came out of the hole, which had been made at the center of his chest plate on his armor.

"I had to kill him…" he said to her, as he panted. September turned her head around, observed the head and the body, which were both lying next to one another on the floor. She frowned. She turned back to her demon, petting his shoulder. She knew he was in a pitiful state. The Minotaur had difficulty breathing at this point.

"Good. You were able to neutralize him," the warden was heard as she slowly walked and joined the others again. "Well, 'neutralize' is a big word," the warden continued after looking a bit closer and realizing that the head of the monster had been cut from his body. It was a mess. Yet, almost no blood. The only blood that was shed today was Junk's. The resurrected creature didn't bleed.

"I had to kill him…" Junk said again.

"That you did," the warden confirmed. But then, all of a sudden, the head of the creature, which rolled to the ground earlier, began moving again. It was attempting to move closer to the witch.

"What in the world?" the warden was shocked.

"No. It's not dead, yet," the witch corrected the two of them.

"You've got to be kidding me…" Junk said.
