Chapter 133 - Routine Visit

Chapter 133: Routine Visit

The cauldron prison.

Back when it all started.

The last time Junk and September had set foot in here, they had been able to scare the warden enough, so she stopped executing all the shady things she had been doing in her jail for years and years. As a way to keep tabs on the warden and her activities, it only made sense to pay her a few visits there and there. However, the fact that Junk wished to visit her today didn't have so much to do with the warden's fishy activities. It was something else this time. Something he was feeling. This time, instead of sneaking into the warden's office, the two showed up at the front gate. No secrets. No wasting time. One voluptuous and pretty witch at the front, carrying her staff with her and one hulking, horned beast in a black and red armor, following her. The lady guards at the front gates were unsure what to do at first. They thought about turning them around, telling them to go away, but then noticed that the one in the back was one of the old prisoners. They recognized him. They didn't know what to do, but they recognized him. The two guards swallowed the saliva in their mouths.

"I'm afraid we won't accept any visitors…" one of the guards said to them, hoping it would do the trick and that they would understand. Sure enough, it wasn't something that was going to be making them turn around. Junk snorted. He wasn't leaving without obtaining what he wished to obtain, which was: Answers to the memory he relieved with September's help. No. He wasn't leaving.

"Good day. We came for an impromptu meeting with the warden. Yes. We are unannounced. That's right," September mentioned to them as she leaned forward at the front gate.

"As my colleague already said to you, we are not currently accepting any visitors. Especially not at this time of the day," the other guard there replied to her. As for the time of the day, it was relatively early in the morning, but nothing too bad. It was almost eight in the morning. It wasn't like it was too early and that the personnel weren't ready or anything like that. They both knew the guards were bullshitting them. It wasn't even a secret at this point. "And we are specifically not going to be accepting the visit from an ex-prisoner who escaped. This is not going to happen," the same guard continued, feeding them reasons for the fact that they didn't want to open the gate. It was shaping up like they should have sneaked in again after all.

"You wouldn't want to have that ex-prisoner becoming angry because you don't want to let him in, n'est ce pas?" September said.

"Let us in, or I kick this gate open," Junk said to them. Growling as he did so. He wasn't patient with the employees who used to be kept locked in this hole. The beast was letting them a few more seconds, and then he'd truly kick the gate open to make it inside. He didn't care. He was going to force himself inside.

"Let them in!" the stern voice of a third guard was suddenly heard behind them. She was running this way. "They are on the list. Don't tell me you forgot already? You stupid morons. The warden spoke about them countless times. They can come inside if they want to. Let them inside. Open the gate. Now!" the third guard, the one who was obviously in charge of this group, barked at them.

"Very well, ma'am…" one of the two, younger-looking guards nodded and began turning a lever, which was going to open the gate.

"As you wish, ma'am!" The second rookie guard nodded as well and rushed to aid her colleague. The pair pulled on two different levers and the gate was lifted in the ground. September came in first. She seductively walked inside the prison. Followed by Junk.

"Thank you so much," September smiled at the third guard.

"About time…" Junk had nothing else to say on this issue.

"Sorry about this…" the third guard in charge, the one who just barked orders at the two other ones, bowed to them both and apologized. She stood there with her head down for the longest time as they made their way deeper into the cauldron prison and eventually met with the warden in the main hall of the jail. Near the front desk. At this point, she had already been informed by many of her employees that the two were waiting at the front gate. The warden waited for them to come inside. She wasn't too happy to see them.

"Warden," September simply called her by her rank.

"..." Junk didn't bother to say anything at all.

"What can I do for you this time?" the warden replied.

"For me: It's a routine, courtesy visit. Nothing else. Well, nothing else than that and a brief, impromptu check up on your activities here at the cauldron prison. How's things going?"

"Good. Before you showed up," the warden coldly said.

"Why do you say that?" September asked her.

"And I'm here to discuss with one of your employees, Jamie."

"Jamie? What do you want from her, you filthy animal?"

"It's important. I believe she now possesses something we want from her. I want to see her now," the beast pressured her.

"What could you possibly want from one of my employees?"

"It doesn't concern you," Junk explained to her.

"Of course, it does. It does concern me a lot. What do you want with her, exactly?"

"I believe she is…" he stopped.

"You believe she is what?" The warden desperately wanted to know what this was all about.

"Pregnant. Warden. I believe I am pregnant," they all heard a feminine voice on the other side of the room. They turned around: It was Jamie. She had a big, rounded, beautiful, pregnant belly.

"What?" the warden was shocked.

"Junk?" Jaime said his name.

"Jamie?"
