Chereads / Harvesting The Witch Queen / Chapter 46 - The Next Minotaur Knight

Chapter 46 - The Next Minotaur Knight

Chapter 46: The Next Minotaur Knight

"Thought I was dead already?" she couldn't believe it. Even after receiving the furious impact of her last trump card, the giant flaming witch bitch, Araknar was still alive. He was still breathing. Only barely, but he was still breathing. He crawled over to her and threatened her life again. The spider demon lord had entirely been set ablaze. Smoke came out of his body. His spider legs had been crisped so much, September could see the bloody interior of them.

The witch desperately tried kicking the demon lord in the face. Attempted to get away from him, but he clung on her and wouldn't let her go. He held her right heel and was pulling on it.

"Get away from me!" she shouted at him, continuing to kick him some more in the face. He wasn't doing anything to him.

"You won't escape me… I've sacrificed too much to hunt you…" he told her, persisting on the fact that it was the right thing for him to do. Hunting September. Conquering her and her tower. Taking everything away from her. Harvesting her precious mana milk. Everything he hoped to do to her.

"You are dead. You are supposed to be dead. No one ever survived the giant flaming witch bitch spell. No one," she told him.

"There is always a first time for everything. I strongly believe that you are overestimating your own powers, witch. You are strong and powerful, but far from being as capable as a demon. Let alone a demon lord. You lost. Admit it, witch. You lost," he kept telling her.

"Not yet," she kicked him one more time in the face, and that one time was finally enough for him to grip her heel with his right hand. She crawled away from him. Tried getting a hold of her leafy scepter again, but the damn thing had rolled way too far from her at the moment she collapsed earlier. She couldn't reach it with her right hand. She had to make the choice to continue crawling forward. Crawling back toward her tower. Toward home. She crawled in the steps in the front of the gates. She truly felt like she could perhaps make it. However, the spider demon lord was still dangerously near her in her back. His eight spider legs could accomplish much more than her two arms and her two legs, even on this burned level.

"You won't be able to get away from me for too long…"

"If I could only make it back inside… I'd have a shot at doing something and hiding from him…" she said to herself out loud. Panting like hell. She tried as much as possible. Her big breasts actually helped her move a little faster in the steps, as the soft nature of them smoothly surrounded the steps and supported her in climbing all over them. Even while still wearing the set of jack-o-lantern breastplates. The breastplates offered a lot of flexibility and smoothness of movements. This was how and when it all came handy to her. However, this surely didn't mean that it was going to save her. The spider demon lord was still so close behind her. He was always dangerously close to catching up with her and to be able to pull on either her heels or the colorful leaves in the back of her dress.

September continued crawling up the steps. Eventually, she was able to see the gates. Hopefully for her, Junk hadn't locked them. That would be a shame if he did. Even though it would have made a lot of sense to do so earlier when all the spider followers were attacking. Which was still the case as they were raiding her tower. The Autumn witch managed to make it up the steps and reached the gates. Araknar was still so close behind her, but she made it there, first, and without him fully catching up with her and grabbing her again. September stood up as much as she could without completely standing up, her legs remaining down on the ground. She quickly and nervously grabbed one of the two knobs on the gates, turned it and pulled on it. She tried opening one of the two gates as fast as she could. This was an emergency situation. Running away. Attempting to save her life from this horrifying monster who was hunting her.

Thump! Thump…

It was locked. The gates were locked. September tried over and over again, but they wouldn't open. It was locked. She was locked outside with the monster. She lowered her head. Closed her eyes. The monster was quickly crawling up to the steps. He was about to join her at the top of them. Junk had locked the gates. He did pretty well. Even though it was going to seal the fate of the Autumn witch. He did just right at the end of the day. He had to do this.

So, this is how it ends? Huh? She thought to herself.

"You have been abandoned, witch… You are locked outside with me… We are going to be having so much fun, you and I…" Araknar told her as she finally caught up with her and savagely grabbed both of her legs with his eight spider arms. Four arms for each of her two legs. He then began pulling on them. September was still fighting him off at this point, but with a lot less energy and robustness. Quite frankly, at this point, she spent a lot more energy barging at the gates than she did, battling the monster, trying to kick him with her high-heels. She desperately wished to get inside, but she couldn't. She simply couldn't. It was such a shame. She was so close.

Then, as the demon lord continued to pull on her and brought her back down in the steps, taking her with him, she realized that it truly was the end of it all. She was now face to face with the monster. She couldn't barge at the gates anymore. Even that was over. The demon lord opened his burned mouth as wide as he could, and he prepared himself to shoot one more blue web beam at her. This time, right in the face, which would most likely have the effect of knocking her down immediately and making her pass out for as long as he needed to do whatever he wished with her. This was the worst thing for her. This meant that she was not going to make it.

"I'm done. Do it. Do it, already," she commanded him.

Araknar's beam was just about to be fired when…

"Someone overcooked something or what?" it was Junk's voice. He suddenly towered over the Autumn witch and intervened. He swiftly placed his battleax between September and Araknar's face. Blocking the web beam. The Queen had been guarded.

"Sorry, I locked the gates," the Minotaur was back. September hadn't seen this coming. She was certain she was going to be submerged by the paralyzing beam of the demon lord, but no. She was still conscious and nothing had happened to her. She looked up. Junk was there. Standing over her. Protecting her at all costs.

"Junk?" she didn't know what else to say. He came back.

"I'm late. My bad. But that may be because I have a fat ass," he apologized to her. His own way. It almost made her chuckle. Almost. But the dark mistress quickly tried getting a hold of herself.

"At least, you are here," she said to him, not angry at all.

"I thought you were hiding in the tower and waiting to die there," Araknar, the spider demon lord, whispered to the beast. Smoke was still coming out of his body. The Minotaur observed just how much the monster with the eight legs had been burned during the battle with his witch. Whatever happened here before his return must have been something that was set out of control before, most of the brown and orange grass that was surrounding the Autumn tower had been, unfortunately, burned at this point. The battlefield was bloody, and the sky had turned to a bright orange color.

"What happened to you?" the Minotaur asked the demon lord. "Did she make a barbecue with your body?" he continued.

"Very funny…" Araknar didn't appreciate this kind of joke.

"Be careful, Junk. I might have burned him alive, he still has strengths left in him," the Autumn witch warned him. The blue web beam had been fully neutralized. The two blades of his battle ax had completely absorbed the attack. Eventually, the Minotaur pulled it back up as the blades had dug into the ground at September's feet. Junk now held the magical bronze battle ax in both of his hands as he stood in front of the crawling spider. Entirely dominating him for the time being. He was in charge of the situation from now on.

"I think I can handle a burned insect, September," she said.

"I'd enjoy telling you that I have nothing to do with insects, but I would be wasting my time, and time is running out quickly. It's not a damned Minotaur that is going to stop me from marching on my path and becoming the hero I am supposed to be. I still need to make everything right for my species. They all have a new home. I will take the tower. Heal my body and soul with the witch's mana milk and then live in peace with the elvish girl as my bride," the demon lord explained to the Minotaur, who was the only one blocking him the way of everything his heart desired so much. If he had a heart in the first place, that was. This was the big confrontation between the two monsters. The two were about to fight as the Autumn grass was burning a little all around them. September was still lying down in the steps. Uncomfortably, lying down in them. She was still panting. She wasn't doing too good, but she had been doing a bit better ever since her Minotaur came back outside. Her big breasts were resting with her in the steps. Her big butt was raised in the air as she couldn't find a comfortable manner to lie here during the battle. She was too tired to get up. She tried, of course, but she wasn't accomplishing anything.

"I'll make this quick. You are not taking her tower."

"We'll see," and then, without waiting another second, the spider demon lord leapt in the air and prepared himself to fire a blue web beam at the Minotaur. To his surprise, the horned beast was able to avoid the beam by moving to the side at an extreme speed. The beam went flying and crashing on the side of the tower. Busting a hole in it. The Minotaur could have blocked the beam with the blades of his battleax again, but he didn't do it. Instead, he used his augmented and improved speed that the old Minotaur's armor was granting him with, and circled around the demon as he was still leaping in the air. He moved under him and raised the bronze battle ax in the air.

Junk sliced one of the legs of the spider. Blood splattered everywhere in the burning grass. The demon lord roared in pain. Then, he fell back down on the ground. Crashed at the feet of the Autumn witch. He crawled toward her. Tried to access her breasts as fast as he possibly could. This was honestly his only chance at this point. If he could access her tits and drink some of her milk, he could keep going and continue battling the fierce Minotaur.

"Let me suck on your breasts! Let me drink your milk!"

"Not a chance, Araknar!" she said to him, turning him down as she covered her breasts (even though they were already covered by her jack-o-lantern breastplates) with her arms. Hiding them.

"I don't want to die…" the demon lord murmured to her.

"You heard the lady, the invader. This is the end for you," Junk suddenly grabbed one of his remaining legs and pulled on him. Pulled him as far as he could from his Queen. He had no business doing anything to the Autumn witch. Her safety was top priority for him.

"I still haven't become the hero of my species," Araknar said to himself as he was being pulled on.

"Too bad."

"Hold on, Junk. What do you think you are doing?" the dark mistress asked him.

"I'm going to decapitate him with my new ax, my Queen. What else?" he replied to her.

"Hold on."

"You don't think we should keep him? Right?"

"I'm tempted."

"Well, I'm going to make this easier for you, my Queen. He needs to die. You know this just as much as I do…"

"Wait!"

But it was too late.

Junk raised his ax and decapitated the bloody demon lord.

He did it. He killed him without me commanding him to do so. He truly is like the other one. He truly is the next Minotaur knight, the dark mistress thought to herself.
