Chapter 29 - Establishing Anderson’s Laboratory!

"Jack, what do you think of the contents of the meeting held by Anderson just now?" Joseph turned off the video and asked Jack.

Jack lowered his head and pondered for a moment. He looked up at Joseph and said, "Teacher, although I don't understand what Anderson wants to do, I'm still very much looking forward to this technology. Although Anderson proposed the idea of studying weapons, I believe that according to his personality, it is probably still in a field that hasn't been covered before. I know from his chat that he has a lot of wonderful ideas, so I think that even if he studies weapons, he can still give us some surprises!"

Hearing Jack's idea, William nodded in agreement.

"I think we just need to wait. Maybe Anderson will continue to give us surprises," William continued.

Joseph also thought for a while, then looked at William and said, "William, I think so too. However, I'm not as patient as I was when I was young. I hope to see the results of Anderson's research soon."

"In that case, we'll let some of our laboratory instructors go over and help him deal with some things. This will make sure that the students won't be clumsy and misunderstand Anderson's idea, causing the experiment to drag on," William agreed.

Soon, after another conference call with Joseph.

A few old professors who didn't have any important experimental work on hand decisively agreed to Joseph's request.

After all, compared to boring repeated experiments, their understanding of science and technology had deepened after communicating with Anderson.

Although Anderson looked very young, his mind wasn't like a young man's at all.

His ideas were all perfect and his operating experience was very rich. He didn't belong with these old professors at all.

Although they had been very tired when they had studied artificial intelligence together with Anderson, it also made them feel a long-lost fulfillment and the original initial excitement they had when they had first begun their lives as researchers.

In fact, when they heard that Joseph wanted some professors to help Anderson research new projects, many of them were very interested. Unfortunately, they still had many experiments that hadn't been completed yet.

Therefore, they could only watch and envy their old friends who didn't have any important experimental work in their hands.

After hanging up the video call, the professors casually greeted their assistants who were helping to conduct the experiments.

After the five of them made an appointment to have dinner together, they walked toward Anderson's laboratory.

After their lunch break, the students came to the laboratory to begin their daily tasks.

The entire laboratory seemed to be operating normally, but the most important professor had disappeared.

"Huh?"

"What's going on? Is the teacher on vacation today?"

"Yeah, why isn't the professor here?"

The students walked into the laboratory in twos and threes, holding some experimental material reports in their hands. They were preparing to report but discovered that the old professor, who had always attached great importance to research, had not come.

Just like that, the students put aside their doubts and spent the whole afternoon relaxing.

Until the afternoon while they were at the staff cafeteria, a few students in the laboratory suddenly realized that this had happened across multiple labs at the same time.

A few professors had already left their own laboratory and all went to Anderson's laboratory.

"Sigh, if I had known, I would have agreed to go to Anderson's laboratory."

"Who knows, even the teachers went to Anderson's laboratory to participate in his new project."

"Such a project is definitely not a simple one. The teachers were able to go, so it must have been arranged by President Joseph."

"I'm so envious! After all, he's the technological genius who developed the Artificial Intelligence Project!"

"But that day, I heard that he wanted to research weapons and new materials?"

"Yeah, that's what I heard as well, which is why I rejected participating in the project. All sorts of weapons have been thoroughly researched by various laboratories. However, I didn't expect that even the teachers would have gone to Anderson's laboratory."

During this afternoon alone, during all the breaks and resting places, there were students who had long discussed Anderson's new experimental project.

Others had the courage to apply for the job in the lab.

Many people had tried but slots were limited.

Now, they couldn't go even if they wanted to unless they could be better than those people.

However, they were mostly students with average grades and the lab was only for the elites now.

Even so, they were extremely curious about Anderson's experiment.

After all, Anderson's true age was about the same as theirs but he was able to reach such a level. It was evident that he had a very good level of technological understanding.

...

Just like that, Anderson's experiment officially began three days later.

Several trucks carrying various kinds of metal ores drove into the experimental base.

The boxes of experimental materials stunned the passing researchers.

Everyone in the laboratory started to get busy under Anderson's guidance.

The research direction of the laboratory was divided into two aspects.

One was the chemical research related to titanium alloys, the other was the research related to mechanical arms, gloves, engineering mechanics, and physics that matched human body equipment.

The researchers were now the busiest people in the lab.

As the lab got busy, file after file was sent to Joseph and William's desk.

Joseph and William put down the files and looked out of the window in the direction of the lab.

Outside the entire laboratory, countless passing researchers looked curiously inside every day.

...

A month quickly passed.

In Japan, all the professors had made their preparations and boarded the international flight to New York City.

The entire flight was not that long, just taking up half a day.

When the private plane stopped at JFK airport, the cabin door opened.

The five-person special elite team from Japan walked out first.

The entire plane was filled with big shots from the scientific world.

Although the Japanese government was very reluctant to let these professors come over, there was nothing they could do. If these professors were to cause a ruckus, their Empire would suffer even more.

This was because these researchers were all members of the Science and Technology Association.

If they no longer wanted to stay within Japan, they themselves would be helpless to stop them.

Therefore, they could only send out their country's most elite special forces team to protect them.

After the special forces team walked out of the cabin, the first person to come out was Professor Ryan.

He looked at Joseph and William, who were coming to pick them up not far away. His eyes revealed a hint of nostalgia for seeing his old friend.

"Ryan, long time no see!" William greeted him.

"Well, we haven't seen each other for at least five years!" Ryan said thoughtfully.

"It seems that you take this matter very seriously. In the past, even if we had any scientific experiments, only a few people came. You have so many people here. You must have other motives," Joseph said as he reached out his hand to Ryan.
