After a while, a lot of them got quite exhausted, so they decided to rest with their guardians for a while.
Most of the guardians that were with the other children were old men and women.
Since their parents were usually busy after labors or during chores such as laundry and cooking, they were accompanied by their grandparents.
After learning about this, Coen and Toren got curious about it, so they nonchalantly questioned their parents. Since they were young and clueless about anything, this had rained an unknown heavy atmosphere for the couple.
Muren and Airen had been silent about the talk of their grandparents for years until now.
Coen and Toren asked where their grandparents were and Airen immediately answered that her own parents had died of old age already, while Muren kept quiet, unsure whether to tell the truth or lie.
In the end, they have only left the trail of the unanswered question into a lingering doubt.
At home, Airen privately told her husband that they must return and visit his mother, Madam Lumen so they could finally introduce their children.
As if an automatic mechanism was installed in Muren's system, he profusely rejected the idea.
Turned down, Airen reasoned out about their children's desire to meet their grandparents.
"Your mother deserves to see her grandchildren too, Muren," She insisted. "Do not deprive a person of what was meant for her only because you are scared or doubtful. We will never be able to move forward from that point if you keep turning it down! We must have the courage to carry out what must be done. Is that not how you taught the organization to behave? How are you going to convince the fighters to fight if your own teachings cannot even be fulfilled?"
Muren sighed, completely speechless. He looked intently to Airen's eyes – that's where he fell in love with.
"How are you so brave after the disapproval that you yourself had experienced against mother?"
"Muren, are we not the soldiers of this country? We are literally fighting for our freedom which requires bravery! How can something as little as this faze you, my beloved?"
"You are right, my dear Airen. We must go through what was once turned down."
That night, they calmed themselves with a peaceful slumber onto the hours inside the otherworld.
Toren would still keep on appearing there, but nothing seems to wake him up.
Soon, his presence did not bother the lovers, so they left him like that.
The next day, they finally decided to tell the children about their plans to visit their grandmother over the weekends.
Naturally, the children were overjoyed because of the announcement.
They were told to prepare which they did excitedly together.
Muren wrote a letter for his mother informing her about their visit.
It took him hours to write a letter he was content with.
He wanted it to sound very subtle and straight, but he would always end up doing a dramatically emotional one.
Writing someone a letter meant remembering who you were writing for.
And for this great leader, it was difficult to stop the memories gushing in. He remembered his childhood, how he grew up, and how each moment, he could see his mother beside him.
There was not a single special occasion that his mother never showed up.
She was always exuding motherly love, warm embraces, and delicious foods.
