My eyes widen, wide, teary. Seeing the handsome looks that radiated on Jebran's face. My eyes blinked slowly. However, the gazes at all were falling and setting. His face even looked down at mine.
Look at her beautiful brown eyes. Wow, all women will go crazy to see this perfect handsomeness.
"Why?" he asked.
Luckily his temperament is not for kissing. Calmness has also covered my shyness. What a joke am I playing?
His body stood up straight, he took my hand away from the room. I was attracted by his very tight grip.
Behind our backs that were about to move away, Anindira's eyes were very competitive. The gaze this time was sharper than usual. His slick lips sneered at the sight of me being pulled by Jebran.
What does this man want? Oops! He's my man, which means he's mine too. That's what he said like me, I'm his. I pulled my lips wide. A smile was plastered behind his back.
Jebran stopped behind the building. He took me to the back garden. The pace was so fast, my eyes were playing everywhere. I looked behind me, afraid that someone was following our relationship.
His body stopped suddenly.
Bruck!
I bumped into him.
"Ah!" I complained.
His chin pressed against the back of his shoulder. Meanwhile, he turned to look at me.
"You?!" I grumbled.
"I'm sorry, are you okay?" he asked.
"Hmm," I said, nodding slowly.
"Then, why your hand? And... why are we here?" I asked surprised. My eyes and head moved around the small garden.
"Ah!"
"W-why are we here?" he stammered.
I squealed as I smirked in front of him. "Hihihi," I said again, "why are you so weird?" He put on a surprised face, even this is very funny to see his behavior.
"Emir," he called.
"Hmm, yes. What's wrong?" My laughter dimmed when he called me without a friendly face.
"Did you miss your father?" he asked suddenly.
Suddenly my expression changed when asked about my father. I hated to hear it, but I tried to contain the emotions that were about to shake. Now, it is flat to share land without seas, without hills and without boundaries. I held my breath to the tip of my head.
My eyes were fixed evenly on Jebran's face.
"Why? Why do you ask like that?" I complained.
I relaxed my gaze, squinting my eyes to see the figure of my ideal man playing with my feelings.
"I just wanted to know," he complained, looking down.
"Jebran, what do you mean?" I asked curiously.
"We have something in common," he said looking at me. My body swayed from the impact of his two hands on my shoulders. I looked into his eyes.
"Jebran, what do you mean? I don't understand," I complained.
"Hmm, it's nothing," said Jebran shaking his head. He loosened his grip on my shoulder. His body was carried away by the feelings he was hiding at the moment. I saw him just walk away from me.
I also focused on his hand which was wrapped in a white bandage. My eyes narrowed sharply at the wound. I started to think, what happened? Why did he ask about my father? I thought something had happened.
His back was further away and turned left into the upper room again. Returning, he returned to his previous position.
The wind blows through the cracks of my hair through my neck and into my skin. I can feel how cold it is today. The sun rose shyly. I think it's going to rain on the world to get wet.
What I expected arrived. I walked between the outskirts of the office, saw the pouring rain. I saw a father figure I could no longer hope for. I walked, I passed it to go back.
The rain closed all my curiosity at Jebran's sudden strange behavior.
***
Afternoon picked us up so quickly. Someone was running towards me jostling. The return of the employees even hindered waving at me.
I saw someone calling my name.
"Emir!" he shouted.
I narrowed my eyes. I watched slowly, it turned out to be someone I knew the most. It was Fredi, waving at me while shouting my name.
We passed each other, he greeted me with a smile.
"Emira," he greeted.
"Fredy?" I said.
"What is it?" I asked.
"Dilan is back, don't you want to see him?" said Freddy.
"What? Really?" I said excitedly.
"Then let's go there!" Fredi take.
Fredi and I rushed away from my workplace. Heading to the parking space to go home and welcome Dilan's presence.
The figure of Jebran watched me go with Fredi from a distance. He even just kept quiet, didn't call or even stopped me.
His eyes just stared silently, with both hands tucked into his pants pockets.
Fredi and I hit the gas to go from there. We welcome a friend who has recovered from his wounds.
Dilan, standing in front of the door with a look that still looks pale. We, hmm
... I mean, Fredi and I went into his house.
"Dylan," I said.
Dilan smiled, "Where is my sister?" he asked.
"He's still at Jebran's house," I said.
"Oh, okay. I'll pick him up later," Dilan suggested.
My hands just waved to prevent him from going, "Ah, no! Just let me go," I dodged. Dilan looked at me in surprise, "Oh, yeah."
Why does this feel so awkward? I slowly lowered my hands to prevent him from leaving.
"Wow! I'm going to the kitchen first. I'll prepare food for Dilan," suggested Fredi leaving us alone.
I looked at Dilan's slightly different eyes. I felt uncomfortable, my eyes didn't even blink at all.
"You?"
"You?"
Well, we even said it at the same time.
"Oh."
"Oh," I followed.
Dilan waved his hand, "Sit down, Emira!"
"Oh really." I don't know why my face seems to shrink in front of him? Don't say it's not because of Jebran's words I've heard. A woman cannot be a friend to a man. Well, I still remember it. This is the awkwardness that overwhelms me in an instant. I've heard of that. However, I don't care about that kind of thing. Dilan and I didn't know what love was? However, we got to know each other better.
It's just that at that time I always heard silly words from him. When it was high school.
"Emira, let's go on a date!" invite him.
My hand landed firmly on his shoulder.
"You playboy!!" I growled.
"No, I'm just kidding!"
"Ha ha ha."
I heard that laugh in our past. I sat on a simple sofa. While I looked at him who was sitting next to me.
"Food is coming!" Fredi shouted bringing some food for us.
"Wow, I'm finally full," I said with relief.
Ting tong!
The doorbell rings.
We looked at each other, I raised one hand.
"Leave me alone," I suggested.
"Hmm," Freddy said, nodding.
I cheerfully opened the door to Dilan's house slowly. I'm not at all curious about who's coming. I gripped the doorknob tightly.
Pull and open.
Kreek!
The door was wide open, the figure of a man I knew very well stood with a smiling face. Jebran, there he is! He's at the door.
I was stunned by his presence.
"May I come in?" he asked.
