Chapter 8 - Chapter Six

Sansali, who was always accustomed to waking up when the morning light came on, woke up in the morning, as usual, even it was a weekend.

After washing her face, Sansali returned to her bed with the book of novels she was reading these days. She decided to read it until her brother wore up. Her eyes darted and forth between the pages of the book as the knocked on the door of the room by Nisal.

"Come in…"

Sansali looked at Nisal with a smile.

"Sansi.. we talked about going to Wadduwa on the train… but since you are not used to going, I told Pasan to bring his car… Is it ok with you?.."

Sansali, who always knew that her brother would make decisions for her own conform was happy with his decision.

The two siblings got ready and informed Kamala about the journey and waited for Pasan to arrive. Nisal stared at Sansali, who was dressed in a red sleeveless dress with her hair tied up.

Pasan Bimalka Gamage is the owner of the garment business by profession. His well-developed body highlights his good looks. The well-polished bearded added a wonderful glow to his face.

It is no secret to Nisat that Pasa, Nisal's best friend, is in love with her sister. Nisal who had always wanted to see her sister happy and the end of her lonely life made every effort to bring Pasan closer to her sister. Only Nisal knew that this was the purpose of this trip too.

Pasan looked at two siblings who is getting into his car with a happy smile.

"Good morning to both of you…" said Pasan, turning to Sansali,

"You look like Red Riding Hood today. Pretty.." and began to express his thoughts.

Sansali felt ashamed of Pasan's words. Thanking him, Sansali quietly closed the car door.

On the way to Wadduwa, Sansali quietly strolled along the road until they reached the hotel they booked. Nisal and Pasan were talking about various things but they did not interrupt Sansali's silence.

The hotel is located in a beautiful area and offers a wide range of facilities to visitors. The three of them took the keys to the booked rooms and went to rest in the rooms to relieve their travel fatigue.

After waking up, Sansali came out of the room in a light suit, walked across the wide lawn, and sat on a sofa in the embrace reserved for visitors to enjoy the environment.

She watched the way how the waves are rolling towards the beach with a calmful mind

Her thoughts were disturbed by the sound of Pasan's rising from nearby.

"Sansi… How are you…"

Pasan sat down next to the Sansali on the sofa and asked.

"I'm fine.. where is my brother?..."

Sansali asked by looking around as her brother was nowhere to be seen.

"He is having a good sleep Sansi.. So I came without disturbing him…" Sansali smiled at Pasan's words because she was well aware of Nisal's sleep.

"So.. Shall we have something to drink?.."

Pasan waited for a moment in anticipation of the response. After Sansali's response, he called a waiter and ordered a hot chocolate drink for Sansali and a cup of milk coffee for herself.

Until the order was received, the two began to quietly enjoy the sea. After a while, the waiter brought the order and the two began to enjoy it without talking.

Pasan is the one who broke the silence and started talking to Sansali,

"How's work at your Masters's Degree darling…"

Pasan asked from Sansali because he knew that she was pursuing higher education.

"It's about six months more to go… I'm looking for a research topic these days.." She replied.

Pasan, who was a little quiet,

"That's not it Sansali… Can you remember when we last met I told you there was a girl I like at the university you go to…" he said looking at Sansali.

Though she remembered what Pasan had said during their last meetup through Pasan's words, Sansali looked at Pasan with distorted eyes as if she had forgotten it.

Instead of answering Pasan's words, he saw Nisal coming from a distance,

"There he's coming…" she said and walked towards her brother, happy to be free from Pasan's bitter stories.
