Chapter 64 - The Bogland

Lady Brenda Linden ruled the Bogland, the fertile plains which lay between foothills of blackmountains, swamplands. The plains are fertile, and have plenty of lakes and forests. The bogtown, the town established at the banks of Blaze river, known for its rapids and kill count. 

Once upon a time, king Edward's elder brother Roan, squired for lord Linden, and she was childhood sweethearts with him. Roan was a brilliant warrior, and a handsome man, the very epitome of tall-dark-handsome. Young Brenda fell head over heels, but Edward's father refused to let the young couple marry. 

The disgraced Brenda was married off to a local squire, but the man died while rescuing princess Lydia. She refused to marry after that, and she looked after Bogland as it's wardeness. Like any unmarried overlord, heirs are a problem to her, and there was a beloved niece to whom she intended to pass the Bogland.
