It's the weekend and Hyun-ki and Hyun-ae are at home, the two have got more used to living together, and one of the things that they started getting used to is going shopping for food together, Hyun-ki and Hyun-ae are in their rooms each one of them is doing his thing, after some while Hyun-ki called Hyun-ae asking her if she is hungry because he is, she said that she is also hungry, Hyun-ki told her that they should order something, she told him to order her three Tteokbokki, Hyun-ki laughed and told her
"Sometimes I can't believe that the sweet and beautiful Hyun-ae is actually a monster who's craving Tteokbokki, I just can't believe it"
Hyun-ae blushed and looked like she is upset and told him that he is worse than her who ordered four gimpab, Hyun-ki started looking around then Hyun-ae smiled and then Hyun-ki did the same, after a while they were sitting in the living room and waiting the food and while they were Hyun-ki kept looking around that when his eyes will be looking and focusing on Hyun-ae who was dozing while looking at her phone Hyun-ki asked her what's wrong and she didn't answered him, he got off and went behind her to drop a quick look at what she's looking at then that where he went frozen after seeing what she was looking at, Hyun-ae at that moment she was looking at a picture of her middle school days and at that picture she recognized someone, it was Sang In-su who is now is her senior in the university, she started gathering her thought about why he approached her like that at the beginning and why he was nice to her, Hyun-ki wasn't thinking about the fact that she may recognize Sang In-su but he was afraid she may recognize him from the picture, after some moments Hyun-ae turned to where Hyun-ki was sitting, she didn't know that he was behind her when she turned back and found that he was standing behind her she jumped from the fear and then she asked him what is he doing, he told her that he was curious about what she's spacing at because he kept calling her but she wasn't listening, then he asked her what is that pictures, when he asked her Hyun-ae kept looking at him with a serious look where her eyes are focusing in him, Hyun-ki started feeling anxious and started turning his eyes and then he asked her what's the matter, then she pointed at Sang In-su in the picture and asked Hyun-ki who he think this person is, he answered her who he is by saying it's obvious, then he asked her why she's looking at his picture, then she told him that it's her middle school picture of some students, then she told him everything she remembered and what happened at the Middle school, she, Hyun-ki was froozen and spacing after the part when she said that someone took her to the nurse office that day, he knew she didn't remember him in his mind he was smiling because it's no good for him to remeber him, but deep inside he was hoping that she does, after she finished what she was saying she kept looking at the picture then she noticed someone who looked like Hyun-ki a little she turned to him and she pointed t that guy and told Hyun-ki that they look alike, Hyun-ki kept looking at the picture and then he was going to say something then someone started ringing it was the food delivery Hyun-ae went to open the door and she took the food and brought it to the living room when she was putting it on the table she asked Hyun-ki what he was going to say before the food came, he told her that he was going to tell her that the food is here because he got the message from the delivery guy, then they ate the food, when they finished they started washing the dishes when they were washing it their hands touched each other and it wasn't like any touch it was weird because the two kept looking at each other after some few seconds Hyun-ki pulled his hand back and asked Hyun-ae if she can finish the dishes alone he wants to take a smoke, she also pulled her hand back and told him that it's okay he can go and that she will finish the dishes alone, because they are close to finish anyway, Hyun-ki went to the balcony, he took his cigarette pack and pulled one cigarette and when he was about to light it he stopped and kept looking at his hand for a few seconds then he lighten up the cigarette and then he kept saying in his though
"This is not me, I can't ruin everything just when I started it, pull yourself together Hyun-ki, you won't get what you won't like this"
At the same time, Hyun-ae was feeling confused while looking at Hyun-ki and asking herself what just happened, after she finished the dishes she told Hyun-ki that she'll go to her room because she feel tired, Hyun-ki answered her just by moving his head and saying okay.
The next which is Monday, Hyun-ae woke up and went to the kitchen to prepare the breakfast, when she finished preparing it she noticed that Hyun-ki still didn't got out from his room, she went to his room then she started knocking the door but he didn't answer after some seconds she started feeling worried she told him she'll enter and when she did Hyun-ki wasn't there and then she turned back to see that him behind her, she was scared at that moment because she was surprised, he asked her what is she doing in his room, she told him that she kept calling him but he didn't answer and then she asked him where was he, he said that he was in the bathroom, Hyun-ae at that moment noticed that he wasn't wearing any shirt and his top is shown, her face went red and she started looking down toward the ground and she kept telling Hyun-ki with the shy voice to move so she can go out, Hyun-ki didn't hear her clearly, she couldn't resist so she pushed him to the side and she ran out from his room telling him to wear a shirt before coming to the living room, Hyun-ki went to the living room but before he enter it because he started feeling something burning in his chest
"This shouldn't happen, she wasn't in my plan to let her inside, but why do I feel warm every time I see her in my house, and why does the house feel warm more than ever, it feels like the warmth that mom and dad gave to the house back then" what Hyun-ki was thinking while his eye was dropping tear
Hyun-ae noticed that he was standing beside the living room she went toward him, Hyun-ki noticed that she is coming toward him so he turned back and started removing the tears from his eyes but they didn't stop, Hyun-ae saw that he isn't like himself and she started hearing something she took a quick look at his face, then she saw the tear when she saw it she acted without even thinking and she hugged him from behind, Hyun-ki at that moment he got surprised he wasn't waiting for that reaction but what more surprising he turned back and hugged her too, his arms were around her back and his head was close enough to touch her hair from the side,
"Just this time, I'll let my guard down just this time, it's just a recharge for the past years"
Hyun-ae also was a little surprised when he turned and hugged her, and when he did she said in her mind
"This is nothing more or less than a friend supporting friend mentally, hugging is the only way"
After a while of them hugging Hyun-ki pulled his hand back and then Hyun-ae did the same, when they went a step back from each other, Hyun-ki told her
"This shouldn't happen anymore because it may give a wrong idea to others and others may misunderstand it,"
Hyun-ae looked at him with a look on her face that she was serious but also confident with what she'll say,
"What's wrong with them misunderstanding, what if they weren't misunderstanding what they see, what if I want them to misunderstand it"
Hyun-ki kept looking at her then he passed by her and he stopped in front of the house door and said with a cold look on his face
"That will never happen, if it does then next day we'll die"
Then he went out of the house, Hyun-ae kept looking in the direction where he was standing and she was still thinking about what he said, and the look of his face was still in her mind she couldn't believe what she saw.
