Too much, I had too much
Raising my head above, coughing, my head suddenly stings.
"Argh!! Don't hit me"
"You made me run" he said
"I just want to play" looking with wide eyes, appealing for mercy
"No, today's drama is too much" he said to me, while drowning me with soap and water
Pouting until I got dried, he puts me in my pajamas and told me to sit down on a chair. Rummaging through the drawers in front of me, he looks for the brush, I assumed.
I told him "maybe it was at the bedside table drawer?"
With a busy look closed the drawers and turn to the left, 7 small steps forward I'm out of his line of sight… a chance.
Swiftly jump I sneakily, with great silence, obtain from 5 years from the day I walked, I rush to the door and unlock, too heavy for me to swing open for a great entrance, but opening it smaller than a young tree sapling trunk, it shut closed back suddenly. My mind started to think with only seconds to spare there are two choice to make; stand my ground and fight my way out or whine.
I went with the latter.
Inhaling the air I need, I got abruptly stop, with a hand covering my mouth.
"Nope, not tonight, Zia, you need to go to sleep, tomorrow's Monday and first day of class to school"
I hate this
Why do I need to leave the house? Adventure awaits me, but nooooo~ gotta go to town to talk with other people and listen to the big people.
Whining got nullified, my brother lowered his hands and guide me back to the chair, and brush my hair.
First stokes are all tangles, my hair got pulled until it fix.
"Done, what do you want to eat for tomorrow breakfast?" my brother asked
"I don't know" I said as it walk to the bed and climb up to it. I snuggled on the thick blanket "but I want to have a big one, for my journey"
He fixes the table, before snuggling to the other side of the blanket, stealing a portion from me, tugging it back, but I can't
"You're taking it all" I said angrily, I yawned for a bit
"See, you're sleepy"
He wrap me around the blanket and hugged me close, I fought back my sleepiness, but I lost.
My eyes closed and hear the last words
"Good night"
