"Once we got to know him, he is not actually that horrible of a person." Grim said.
Dart was surprised that Grim Fenris was actually starting to open up a bit more. The little dragon cracked a smile.
Grim, Dart, and K walked back to the town they stayed in the night before embarking on the day long trip towards Kazmir.
The harsh rays of the sun continued to beat down on the fledgling chimera hunters. While Dart was safely shaded by the backpack.
"Hey Grim. You look pretty exhausted from the looks of it. Do you want me to carry Dart for you?" K asked the elven boy.
This would in fact be the ultimate test of trust for Grim. Even though he still had not told K the specific details about how Dart and his life are basically one; that if the other one dies for some reason, then the remaining one left will succumb to death as well.
After a pretty long pause in the sunny tracks towards the town, Grim nodded his head.
