Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Start of Everything

Jannidriel's POV

I am walking to the corridors of my school today. I am now going to my class and guess what? I am late!

" Look who's here? It's the poor, poor girl." the most popular girl in our school, Shane Davis said.

Well, as you can see I am always bullied in our school. Why? well, it is because of my family. I am actually an orphan and my foster parents are actually planning on having a divorce that is the real reason why they are bullying me here in our school. They're saying that I am the reason of all of this. To think, I don't even intervene on my parents problems. My foster mother had taught me since I was a kid that, intervening to the problems of old folks is not good and also, she taught me to be a good girl-- to be a humble, kind and understanding kind of person. This what I love about her, you know. I love my foster dad too so it is hard for me too that this is happening to my family.

" Shane, please leave me alone." I told Shane. Instead of going away, she just laughed out loud and push me.

" Why would I? tell me... Who are you to tell me what I must do? You are just a cursed bitch!" Shane said and laughed again along with her friends.

Maybe you are asking yourself who I am. I am Jannidriel Smith. 17 years of age  and If you asked me if I have friends well, I don't have. People here in our school believed Shane that I am really cursed. Only the teachers are the ones that do not believe her and they actually don't avoid me.

While they are laughing, I stand up and picked my things that's on the ground. As soon as I picked them all up, I just went on my way. It is hard to be treated like this everyday but I know someday, I will be treated well one day. I will be treated and be accepted on what and who I really am and I'll wait for that time to come but I hope that day would just come.
