A scream broke, piercing the air with its screech and pressure. The knight comes running towards Staas, but with all the loud noises around him, the boy is still stricken in shock, unmoved while his whole body trembles in disbelief.
Suddenly the number of footsteps grow. There's another one that comes rushing towards him.
It was Gytha, and hastily she grabs the absently Staas pulling him away from the knight. But it's too late, she must use desperate means to protect the boy from that icy blade.
She turned his body, putting her between him and the knight, covering him as a shield from the incoming attack.
*Slash!*
And the knight strikes his sword, cutting deep into Gytha's back, leaving her immediately fainted from the tremendous pain he caused her.
The wounded girl brought Staas back to reality. Gytha's body limply fell into Staas' arms, with her back shredded like a giant cliff, and blood dripping profusely from it.
"Gytha…?"
