As promised, the group went back by using the elevator. It was made out of wood, with a single vertical path heading upwards and downwards. Though the gears pulling the strings were all operated using runes, so it no dwarf was there to operate it.
There were actually a couple of teleporters scattered all over the city. But with how many dwarves using it, it would be much less efficient than just walking to the edge of the district and riding the elevator with tens of people tagging along in a single ride.
"Seems like there's a lot more entrance than we thought…"
The group saw those who ride with them dispersed the moment they arrived at the top. The higher area surrounding the district was pretty far in length before they began to descend to one of the four stairs leading down to the district.
The entrance the group took just happened to be one of the closest ones to it.
