Chapter 2 - 2. A childhood

I lived in a house with no mirrors, nor worries that's how a matured fruit can define its long 18 years. I grew eating all types of veggies never was I picky. I knew how to cook without learning how to cook; my mom was a great cook, she knew how to make tortillas from scratch and the taste of the delicious dishes of fish was out from this world. Everything she made was perfectly balanced and tasty. I remember seeing her standing all day long to satisfy our tongue and stomach to the fullest while she worked in the farm. My dad used to go hunting catching us some deers. He seemed always busy. As for me, I was all day playing with the dust and clay; I loved collecting with my brother beans to play patolli it seemed as a hard game, but I always ended up winning against him; it was a game for males only in our Tribe but we were playing in secret. My friends would love to taste with me all types of flowers, we never got sick of them, because we were too naive to believe in poisonous flowers.
