With that in my mind, I began to walk cautiously and knowing that he might be lurking around here. I had no choice but to use Radiant Light to light up the room. And after I did so, I realized it was not as dark as I thought it would be anymore.
Not only was the place brightly lit, but there were also no shadows lurking anywhere near me. The walls too appeared as clean and pristine as the hallway. Everything was clean and fresh with nothing out of place, yet it felt like the darkness was all around me.
It made my heart beat faster just a bit more frantically each time, but I knew how to control it. There was no need for a panic attack now, at least not on this day. The day was already difficult enough without it.
