That's rather surprising to hear that there are a few survivors as I thought that there were none. Maybe it's a miracle considering the condition that our group is in.
As I really thought that all of them were dead just by seeing the corpses on the frontlines before.
"I see, but how could you guys survive? Did you guys dig the hole or-" The man interfered with me before I could finish my sentence.
"Oh! This hole… Well, we didn't exactly dig to escape. We also were quite surprised to know about this, as the ground opened up when the demons cast a big spell. We notice it and leap into the crack on the ground to escape." The man said.
"Wait, so you also aren't aware that this underground cavern exists in the first place?" I ask that.
Because from what I could see, it's just a simple place. Judging by it, it looks like an underground cavern and there might be some monster lurking around here.
