Because I could tell that Aron was really smiling often lately… Especially when he was with Aniela, there's no way that Aron hates her.
"Really? Why? Is something special happening between us?" She asked with her eyes lit up with curiosity. "What was it that changed him?"
I shook my head and laughed dryly. "Nothing is really changing between you two… He's actually quite happy. And that's exactly why you shouldn't assume that something changed."
She sighed with relief. "Oh! Okay! Thank goodness…" She said.
Then frowned again a few seconds later. "But… Why then do I think that something changed? Do I have something to worry about…?"
I sighed in defeat and ran my hand through my hair. "Not… exactly…" I said. "But the way he treats you is different from how he treated you before… If I may… I guess that the two of you must've grown close now that you both have become best friends…"
