The beast tried to attack me once again but before it was able to do so I dashed past the beast, barely avoiding being attacked by the beast's claws.
The beast let out another roar and I was prepared when the beast launched itself toward me this time, but I swiftly dodged it without losing my balance.
I looked over in front of me and saw that Ciaran was starting to wake up. However, he did not manage to get his wits about him, nor did he even seem to notice the beast in front of him. He only glanced at it for a second and then returned his gaze back to me.
But just a glance is all the beast needed and it pounced on me.
"Watch out!" Ciaran yelled out at me. Without hesitation, I quickly rolled aside and the beast missed me completely.
Now that Ciaran has finally woken up I realized that we had no options anymore. With my luck, we wouldn't be able to get away alive now. So we either fight this monster together or we die…
