"What does the king want with me this time?"
"That's something that I had no info on as the king simply ordered me to get you into the palace." The man said.
"Okay, but why isn't Amrod doing this, shouldn't he be the one that was assigned to oversee my activities and help me as long as I was in this elven kingdom?"
"Sir Amrod had a mission, so with that, the king had assigned me as your temporary caretaker until Sir Amrod finished the mission."
"Let me guess? You couldn't tell me what the mission was too right…"
"I could but I simply had no idea what's the mission about as I am merely just a servant serving under Elves King."
Amrod does say that the kingdom and the faction was a separate thing. As the king wasn't the one that controlled the Anti-Demon factions, it was controlled by Amrod and its unknown leader. The king doesn't have any influence whatsoever in the factions at all.
