After all of that… I finally kill the demon with the help of the radiant being of this realm.
And after all of that, I still have not come to terms of what exactly is going on, and the truth behind my actions. So here I am in this story of a place where I find out who I really was… But it wasn't the one I thought it was.
The world around me seemed to disappear as soon as I opened my eyes again, but there were no stars shining above me. There was nothing but grey darkness surrounding me, as if I had been trapped in some sort of abyss.
It took everything in me to stand up, the only reason why was because I felt as if something had grabbed hold of my arm and prevented me from moving any further, despite the strength it would normally require for me to do so. I tried to turn around, but my whole body felt heavy and I felt as though I couldn't even lift a finger, even when my eyes had adjusted enough to the darkness for me to make out my surroundings.
